About
Payments that think like a practice.
Arlo Payments exists to run the money side of dentistry the way a great employee would: quietly, accurately, and every single morning.
The company
One product idea. One kind of customer.
Arlo Payments, LLC is a dental payments company built around one product idea: the practice's card processing, patient collections, ledger posting, and reporting should behave like a colleague, not a login. Its product is Arlo.
The company is independent and founder-built, runs on proven national payments infrastructure, and serves dental practices exclusively: general, specialty, and multi-location groups.
What we believe
Three things we will not compromise on. Everything else is a detail.
01
Calm is the product.
The front desk sets the tone of the whole practice; payments should never be the loud part of the day.
02
Fees are not a fact of life.
A fully disclosed dual pricing program can bring a practice's processing cost to as low as zero, and the savings belong to the practice.
03
Software should know dentistry.
Ledgers, treatment plans, families, recall: the money side only makes sense to something that understands the clinical side.

Founder
Dr. Winslow
DDS, UCSF · MBA, USF · Practicing dentist, 18 years
Dr. Winslow has practiced dentistry for 18 years and still treats patients. DDS from UCSF, MBA from USF, and a dental family: his wife and his brother are dentists too. The front desk, the ledger, and the end-of-day deposit are not abstractions to him; they are Tuesday.
He built the Dental Document platform from the gap between what practices pay for software and what that software actually understands about dentistry. Documentation, operations, and analytics that know a crown from a cleaning.
Arlo closes the last gap. Practices were paying processing fees to companies that know nothing about dentistry, so he built the payments employee the front desk never had.
One ecosystem
Two products. The same practices.
Platform

The AI platform for documentation, operations, and analytics. Built for dentistry from the first line of code.

The payments employee. Card processing, patient collections, ledger posting, and the morning brief, run for the practice every day.
What Arlo doesAvery answers. Arlo collects.
Avery is the AI receptionist available through Dental Document. Avery and Arlo are separate products that work for the same practices: one handles the phones, the other handles the money.
